CLODOMIRO'S BIOGRAPHY
CLODOMIRO
GIRAUD, JR. is not your average children’s book author. Mr.
Giraud has taken an uncanny path that has brought him from being a
cabbie in New York City, to a seasoned children’s book author in
California in search of a movie deal.
Giraud’s first success in children’s literature came after a chance
encounter with an editor in one of his taxi trips across New York
City. The editor helped Giraud publish
Meeting The Coconut Family
(ISBN 0-9630389-0-7), a
celebrated book that landed Mr. Giraud on Good Day New York, and
other nationally recognized shows.
“I wanted to create a book for kids that focused on morals in a fun
way, while giving them a splash of my native culture. The love the
kids have for the book is great, but not as great as the love I have
for them learning about new things in a positive light.” Explains
Clodomiro Giraud Jr. in regards to his passion for teaching children
through literature.
Mr. Giraud has worked extensively to create a brand for The Coconut
Family including a catchy theme song, and a set of plush toys in
hopes of bringing the entire package to the big screen.
“We’ve got the plush toys and a theme song the kids love, all we
need now is someone to make this movie happen, it is 100% a smash
hit waiting to happen, because every child that reads this story
falls in love with it, a movie would just knock their socks off.”
Explains Mr.
Giraud.
For slightly older children there is Mr. Giraud’s latest book,
The
Witches of West End Avenue, New York (ISBN 1-59113-482-X). This book takes readers through
a mystical journey of witches and real life people all caught up in
a massive struggle for power.
The Witches of West End Avenue New York takes the thrill of a cop
drama, and combines it with the intensity of a scary movie to create
a one of kind experience for readers. This book is ready to hit the
big screen with its thrills, chills, and massive appeal to the
teenage crowd.
“I wanted to create a book that when a child picked it up, and
started to read it, they would not be able to put it down. That was
the main objective and I feel like when this story is made into a
movie it will entice millions to the box office, it’s just that
good.” Explains Mr. Giraud.
